Floral hibiscus refreshes the classic gin and tonic, and while most hibiscus G&T recipes call for steeping dried flowers, we’ll gladly take this shortcut version using hibiscus iced tea, instead.

How to make

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp (30 mL)gin (1 oz)
  • 1/4 cup (60 mL)PC Berry Flavour Herbal Hibiscus Iced Tea
  • 1/4 cup (60 mL)PC Black Label Sicilian Tonic Water
  • 1each thin lime slice, fresh blackberry and fresh mint sprig, for garnish (optional)

How to make

  • Step 1Chill serving glass in freezer 15 minutes.
  • Step 2Fill chilled serving glass one-third with ice. Pour gin, iced tea and tonic water into glass. Stir gently.
  • Step 3If garnishing, fold lime slice around blackberry and thread onto wooden cocktail skewer; add to glass. Add mint.
  • Try this: Add a squeeze of lime juice for an extra hit of flavour.
