How to make

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup (175 mL)Packed dark brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL)PC®100% Pure Maple Syrup
  • 1/4 cup (50 mL)PCMD 100% Virgin Cold-Pressed Coconut Oil
  • 1/2 tsp (2 mL)Salt
  • 1 cup (250 mL)35% whipping cream

How to make

  • Step 1In medium saucepan, stir together sugar, maple syrup, coconut oil and salt. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Reduce heat to medium-low; simmer for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Carefully pour cream into sugar mixture; it may splatter. Whisk until smooth; cook for 2 to 3 minutes or until thickened and syrupy.
  • Step 2Serve warm or cold over French toast, pancakes, waffles, ice cream or fresh fruit.
