How to make

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg (590 g)Silken tofu, drained
  • 1Green onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp (15 mL)Soy sauce
  • 2 tsp (10 mL)Rice vinegar
  • 1-1/2 tsp (7 mL)Minced garlic
  • 1-1/2 tsp (7 mL)Minced ginger root
  • 1-1/2 tsp (7 mL)Sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp (2 mL)PC®Black Label Shichimi Togarashi 7-spice Blend

How to make

  • Step 1Pat tofu dry with paper towel. Halve lengthwise. Cut each half into 3/4 inch (2 cm) thick slices. Carefully transfer and fan onto serving platter.
  • Step 2In small bowl, stir other green onions, soy sauce, vinegar, garlic, ginger, sesame oil and half the togarashi. Spoon over tofu. Sprinkle with remaining togarashi.
